Letter from Representative Morris Udall to Representative Les AuCoin on Alaska Lands Act

Letter from Representative Morris Udall of Arizona to Representative Les AuCoin celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act, which was signed into law by President Jimmy Carter on December 2nd, 1980. The act, which AuCoin supported and helped draft, provided environmental protection for over 157 million acres of land. The act was introduced by Representative Udall and signed into law by President Jimmy Carter on December 2nd, 1980.
