Washington County has hosted one of the largest populations of migrant farmworkers in the state of Oregon, with up to 12,000 workers needed at harvest. The Washington County Community Action Organization took photographs of over 30 migrant camps in the 1990s, documenting living conditions. These photographs, alongside reports created over two decades, document many of the issues related to farmworker housing, food and services that WCCAO supported.
