'Presentation of Missionary Service Flag to Pacific University' Program
Description
A program for the presentation of Missionary Service Flag to Pacific University. The missionary service flag was a commemorative flag made in honor of students and alumni of the university who had gone on to serve missions. The presentation event was held in Marsh Hall on February 10th, 1921. The program lists the names of students that have served as missionaries and the locations where each student served. Some names include: Frances B. Clapp (Kyoto, Japan); Joseph Elkanah Walker (China); Margaret "Dolly" Hinman (Turkey); and others. This program is part of a scrapbook compiled by Frances Clapp, a 1908 Pacific University graduate.
