A photograph of the Forest Grove branch of the Maurice Thompson Archery Club. Maurice Thompson was a world renowned archer that wrote the book The Witchery of Archery in 1878. The club was founded by Forest Grove citizen, F.S. Barnes, an avid archer himself. The caption with the photograph identifies the club members as Mrs. Hinman, Mary McKenzie, Eugenia Penfield, Belle Barnes, Principal Bates, F.S. Barnes, Lillian Barnes, Manche Langley, Professor Ben Kori and Professor Lyman. This photograph appears in a scrapbook compiled by Frances B. Clapp, a 1908 Pacific University graduate.
