Rev. H. Lyman,
Dear Bro.
Yours of Sept. 12th was rec'd today. Enclosed you will find a certificate of delegateship which I trust will be all that is necessary. I have notified the members of the Association in regard to the meeting at Seattle. I will also send your letter to Father so that he may communicate with you in regard to Whitman Sen. as he thinks best. When you are in East Hampton please call on Mrs. Joseph <. Finch, a cousin of mine, who will be very glad to see you, if you have time. She & I went together to one of your brothers.
We all continue well with nothing of very special importance to note. We all wish you a safe & prosperous journey & would be pleased to hear from you if you have any time to write us.
Yours Fraternally,
M. Eells
