A letter to U.S. Speaker of the House Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr. signed by several members of Congress, including U.S. Congressman Les AuCoin, meant to express concerns regarding the pulling of the Ethics in Government Bill, H.R. 1. The Ethics in Government bill was created during the 95th Congress in the years following the Watergate scandal. The representatives advocated for the rescheduling of a vote for the bill.
