A speech by U.S. Congressman Les AuCoin from the 1980s on the new generation in politics and their involvement in politics. In his speech, Congressman AuCoin discussed the federal debt and federal budget deficit, the economy, and increasing the standards for American education. AuCoin served in the Oregon House of Representatives (1971-1975) and in the United States House of Representatives from Oregon's 1st District (1975-1993).
