Description
Sepia-toned image of a large stack of hay and a contraption being used to stack more hay on top of it. One man stands on top of the hay, which is easily four times his height. A large loader bucket is being levered up to lift hay to the top of the stack by two horses attached to a wheeled mechanism at the bottom of the equipment. They are controlled by a man seated behind them.
[Back] [pencil] Papa Wuehler and his hay stacker Esther the driver [sic] they put up this stack by themself [sic] it contained 32 tons. is now in back. [sic]
