Hess's Store

Title

Hess's Store

Description

Black and white image of a woman and a small child standing in front of a small gabled building that combines a store, gas station, and cabin rental. The child wears a short coat and knee socks and holds what looks like a large doll in one arm. The woman wears a dress and a full apron. The station has two pumps with measuring cylinders and a number of gas bottles in between. Painted signs advertise candy, tobacco, and cold drinks, while a lighted sign also advertises 'Cabins.' Coca-Cola and Orange Crush signs hang beneath the front windows of the store.
