Description
Black and white image of a large group of people gathered outside a school building, most likely the students and their parents. Two young boys have ascended the building and are sitting in the belfry.
[back] [pen] Second schoolhouse Union School, Dist. 6 -- of Cedar Mill, built 1901. Was situated W. or Cornell Rd on what is now N.E. 143rd. Replaced original old Union School Dist 6, which was building in 1864, torn down in 1901 when larger was built on same grounds. Both buildings were on property later donated for a cemetery,--Union Cem of Cedar Mill. By Hazel Young.
