Description
Black and white image of an unidentified young bride and groom cutting a two layer wedding cake. The bride wears a simple, belted shirtwaist dress made of shiny fabric, with a corsage and flowers in her hair. The groom has on a suit. Tall curtains decorated with leaves bracket the couple as they cut a cake sitting on a lace-covered table. This image is part of the Herbert McMullen bequest. McMullen was a local photographer who owned a studio in Hillsboro; he also collected images of local life taken by other photographers.
