Black and white photograph of a man in an Army uniform from World War I. His hair is short and he wears a forage hat with a 'U.S.' over crossed rifles. Plapp arrived in Portland, Oregon, after his service in World War I, eventually settling in Hillsboro. This image is part of the Herbert E. McMullen bequest. McMullen was a local photographer who also collected images of local life from other photographers.
